Description:

Egypt is a groundbreaking country in ICT R&D and a key actor in the Middle East region. Spanish companies, also leaders in ICT development, are willing to explore new international connections.

ESITIP bilateral programme allows the establishment of these connections between Spanish companies and Egyptian private and public institutions. ESITIP aims to launch ambitious joint R&D projects of a high international standard in all areas of Information Technology (IT). Potential projects will be funded by ITIDA in Egypt and CDTI in Spain.

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) was created in 2004 under the initiative of the Ministry Of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in order to support the national strategy through applied research and innovation.

The CDTI is the Innovation Agency under the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, which fosters the knowledge based research and innovation of Spanish Companies.
